The Barbershop Belles
Helen Bailey and Hannah Mayhew formed ‘The Barbershop Belles' while studying together at Trinity College of Music. The group is an eclectic, fun, all-female vocal quartet who sing a range of accompanied and a cappella repertoire spanning opera, musical theatre, jazz and pop. The group have appeared at a number of private and corporate functions as well as in a number of concerts. Recent performances include several fundraising concerts around the UK; corporate performances for the National Maritime Museum; a performance in honour of Lord Geddes at Trinity College London; a recital at Hyde Park Chapel; and a recent performance at St James’s Palace for HRH Duke of Kent.
The Barbershop Belles are available to perform as an a capella quartet and also with piano accompaniment. They have repertoire to suit all occasions and will happily work with you to make sure that their performance fits your event.
They are available to sing at both corporate events, and private functions. The Belles have experience of performing for weddings, both during the wedding ceremony itself, and as background music for the reception. They could also provide you with live music for your first dance. If we do not already perform a particular piece that you would like to hear at your event, then please ask us - we may be able to sing a special arrangement - just for you.
